Hand Held:

The Lib-Scan Hand Held is a combined read / write and data processing terminal. The unit consists of 2 parts, a small hand held computer with shoulder strap and a light “wand” type antenna.

The antenna, which is connected to the handheld via a small cable, is passed along the spines of the books without the need for removing them from the shelf. The major advantage of a separate antenna is weight reduction, an additional advantage is that you can easily reach high or low placed materials!

The possibilities of the Lib-Scan in combination with the Lib-Chip™ software, are almost unlimited, you can easily take inventory, trace incorrectly placed materials, search specific materials, convert the RFID tags etc.

You can programme search-criteria on the handheld computer. The software is Windows (.net) based and data transfer is via infra red, USB or wireless. The unit reads Philips I-Code,               I-Code SLI, Mifare TI, Tag-IT, Infineon, etc, tags.

Panels (Antennas):

Besides the standard antenna, which is a robust polyurethane composite available in various colours, we can also provide you with Plexiglas® antennas. Plexiglas® panels have proven to be very popular with our EM systems. For every library interior we can supply you with an aesthetic solution.

Sorting Robots:

Return, Conveying and Sorting Systems are convenient for both busy library staff and library patrons. Completely automated return and sorting systems are configured to the individual requirements of your library .
